Gandhara Independent Film Festival (GIFF) 2024 awaits to showcase some of the finest short films from around the globe. GIFF came into existence with its first virtual edition in 2020, with an aim to let a larger audience experience a diverse range of films through a hybrid medium. A platform that has been providing filmmakers a chance to reach out to a global audience for the last 4 years consecutively.

This year’s edition is just around the corner and we are all ready to take a step further ahead in bringing out the best of short films for the world to experience. So, it's time to buckle up and let us take you on a ride full of emotions, drama, art, comedy, and much more this September.

Gandhara independent Film Festival 2024 will be accepting submissions from around the globe for its non-competitive section and submissions from Pakistan for its competitive section. Films that succeed to stand out among other official selections in the non-competitive section will receive certificates from GIFF. Whereas outstanding films from official selections in the competitive section will be awarded based on the categories mentioned below:
